Not an art class. Not another thing to be good at. Just a little time away from screens, errands and the endless mental tabs we all seem to keep open.
Creating just for the sake of creating.
Bring something of your own, choose a creative experience from the menu, or simply come and see what takes your fancy.
Come alone, with a friend, or as a low-key date.
No talent required.
SPRING 2026 Schedule:

Choose from our Creative Menu
Everything you need is included in your chosen creative experience. You’ll receive a few starting simple prompts and friendly help nearby if you want it. Then, the rest is up to you.
The menu will change from time to time, but you might find collage and blackout poetry, watercolour greeting cards, clay. (See the current creative menu below)
Bring Your Own Thing
Knitting, crochet, embroidery, sketching, journalling—or that unfinished project that has been waiting patiently in the cupboard.
Bring whatever you’re already making and enjoy some dedicated time to return to it in good company.

I’ve always been one for silent book clubs and gatherings were you can be social without being “social”.
The Creative Catch-ups are designed so that you can talk if you want to… but you can also sit in your own creative flow with your headphones on.
We’ll all be working on different things, together.
-
I will always encourage people to “just come”.
That being said, if you know what craft offering you want to part-take in, bookings are encouraged so I have enough of the desired materials.
You also are always more than welcome to BYO craft/journal/thing.
There is always enough creativity to go around.
-
At the moment the Creative Catch-ups are designed as a parallel play-environment for adults only.
Please stay in touch for kid-friendly offerings in the summer holidays.

The Creative Catch-Up offers something many of us rarely make time for: a few dedicated hours to reconnect with ourselves through curiosity, play and creative expression.
Making something with our hands is a portal to an energetic state of peace and flow.
It can also reconnect us with our inner child: the curious, playful part of ourselves that experiments freely, follows an impulse and creates without worrying whether the result is useful or “good.”
Research has linked everyday creative activity with positive emotion and flourishing, while studies of adult playfulness have found associations with life satisfaction and wellbeing.
This isn’t therapy, and there is nothing you need to achieve. It is simply dedicated time to play, express yourself and remember how good it feels to make something for the sake of making it.
