My painting journey started on a whim as a 37 year old. I picked up the watercolor paints I had on hand, and began experimenting during quiet afternoons in my classroom. Since then, I’ve discovered a love for the texture and freedom of the palette knife and oil paints.

This creative journey has revealed something powerful: we often don’t know what hidden talents live inside us—and more often than not, we’re the ones standing in their way.
